Author of An Integrative Approach to Treating Eating Disorders: 9 Foundational Skills for a Lasting Recovery

With over 20 years of experience as a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified eating disorders specialist, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to my work with clients and professionals.

I am the founder of the Journey Therapy Intensive Outpatient Program, where I have supported individuals in their recovery journeys by integrating evidence-based practices with personalized care.

I have also developed comprehensive training curriculums and authored An Integrative Approach for Treating Eating Disorders: 9 Foundational Skills for Lasting Recovery, a guide for therapists seeking to deepen their expertise in eating disorder treatment.

My extensive clinical background includes specialized training in trauma therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and neurofeedback. These tools enable me to address the deep-rooted challenges that often accompany eating disorders and trauma, helping clients achieve holistic and lasting recovery.

As a clinical consultant, I guide therapists and professionals to build confidence and effectiveness in their work, emphasizing an integrative and compassionate approach. Whether through one-on-one consultation, training, or writing, my mission is to inspire growth and foster understanding in the treatment of eating disorders.
